NCG and Quantum Groups

A special session of the 1st joint meeting of the AMS and the PTM, Warsaw 31.7.2007-2.8.2007

Organised on the occasion of Paul Baum's 70th birthday

Topics

This session will bring together people with various backgrounds ranging from Poisson geometry to operator algebras, but all more or less connected to noncommutative geometry and quantum group theory.

Organisers

Paul Baum (Penn State University)
Ulrich Krähmer (IMPAN Warsaw)
Tomasz Maszczyk (Warsaw University + IMPAN Warsaw)

Same, but larger scale

IMPAN (where the Banach Centre meeting is and some of you stay)

To register officially for the Joint Meeting, please visit its general web page. There you also find some practical information about accomodation etc. Please let us know if you need further help e.g. with booking an accomodation. In order to create a list of participants, we also would ask anyone who plans to visit this special session to inform us with a short email.
